Your 2nd Visit (Report of Findings)

Report of Findings

At your initial consultation, we will schedule a 2nd Visit for you, which we call the Report of Findings Visit.  We usually schedule this for as soon as you are able to return, however if you are referred for X-Rays, this will need to be done first. 

Prior to this visit, your Chiropractor will have taken the time to review the information in your health history form, and correlate this with your physical examination results, in addition to any X-Rays you may have had taken.  Based on all of this information, your Chiropractor will then provide recommendations for your care, taking into consideration any presenting condition and your short and long term health goals.  Our Chiropractic Care plans are designed to not only restore health and function, but to help you to transition to a wellness-based lifestyle, and maintenance of a healthy spine and nervous system. During the Report of Findings visit, we will discuss and answer 3 important questions/issues:    

1. What exactly is the problem (if any) - is there any interference to your nerve flow/nervous system function caused by subluxations (ie misalingments of the spine).  If so, where are they are how will they impact upon your health?
2. How we can help correct the problem, and how we can help with your overall health goals. 
3. What is the recommended schedule of care for you to achieve your health goals. 

We may also refer you to consult with other health care providers at this visit if necessary. We will also make any additional recommendations that will help you to achieve your health goals, including recommendations for diet and nutrition (including nutritional supplements), exercise and ways to reduce stress or emotional stressors that are impacting upon your health.   

We encourage you to ask lots of questions at this visit, as our aim is for you to have a complete understanding of what the problem is, what has caused it, how we can address it, and the estimated time it will take for your care.  Once all of your questions have been answered, we will continue with your chiropractic adjustments and providing the best care and wellness program for your needs.
